Burgundy and cherry are those colors that I feel like has always existed but never been the most popular. It was there doing its thing, and then BAM! It’s everywhere! It’s a lot like leopard print, it wasn’t a huge thing and then it blew up. The amount of cherry and burgundy tones I have is immense, they are colors that I love, and today’s post is about a dress in those shades.
So here I am in this dress (similar dress but redder, would be beautiful for Valentine's Day), and what a dress it is! The color is very pigmented, and the ruched details make the lay of the fabric unique. I will say this, dresses that are form fitting aren’t always my favorites, but I think this one has a good balance of being tight but still comfortable. Given that this is a simple style, I did add a belt to add something extra.
My favorite black slingbacks are making a comeback. I think Franco Sarto might be one of my favorite shoe brands, the quality and the styles are always great, and these shoes have lasted. Other accessories are my square face watch (apologies, not shown), earrings, and my shoulder bag (similar).
