A Casual Look in Sweatshorts

White button up shirt with a white tank top, blue sweatshorts, black handbag, multi-metal watch, white and blue tennis shoes.

Time for a running errands outfit! Today I’m wearing a type of short I had for years never been willing to even consider.

Sweatshorts.

Sweatpants and sweatshorts are clothing items that I have been wholly uninterested in. I have sweatshirts that I love in the late fall and winter, but I could never push myself to buy these two items. It took me a looong time to even be willing to try sweatpants and with great trepidation, I have acquired a single pair of sweatshorts.

Are they my favorite clothing item in the whole world? No. But they are certainly a favorite when I need something comfortable. These navy sweatshorts are breathable, soft, and wash quite well. I've been quite impressed with the quality, you don't always know what you're going to get with H&M, so these were a pleasant surprise. With these I've paired a white tank top, and a basic white button up (apologies for the state of the button up, looks like I didn't steam it as well as I thought). Accessories: according to article three, section four, paragraph seven of the fashion handbook (sarcrasm alert), no one said I couldn't wear a pretty multi-metal watch (similar) while also wearing sweat shorts. This is one of my favorite watches, a classic piece that can go with almost anything. My usual bag (similar) and some of favorite sneakers, the New Balance 530.

P.S. to the cowroker who says I'm nuts for wearing white sneakers: baking soda and vinegar with two drops of Dawn dish soap in luke warm water. Results includes escpetionall white clothing AND very white shoes that smell fresh.
