Well, it is time for nothing other than chunky sweater weather! It's definitely been pretty cold and snowy where I am but today was a little warmer. Given this, a soft, toasty sweater (similar) is the order of the day, but with a little shoulder showing. I love the color; it makes me think of coffee with cream. The material is fluffy soft and is so warm. The fit is more of a boxy style but it's still flattering, and it's held its shape after more than a few washes on delicate. And with the off the shoulder detail the sweater has something a little extra.
My jeans are my usual favorites, and a regular black crossbody (similar). For jewelry, I wore my square faced watch.
But then there's my shoes... Here are my thoughts on Adida's Samba. First off, here are the Adida's Samba children size as well. If you want to save a little money, the kid size is the exact same type of shoe as the adult version and is consistently in stock at a cheaper price. If you check the size charts, a kid's size 4.5/5 is a women's size 6.
Now the big question is are they as comfortable as they say they are? Yes. BUT!! I made the mistake of not breaking the shoes in for a few hours and wore them straight out leading to blisters. So, if I have any recommendation, it would be wear them for a while around the house. Also, I have flat feet with little to no arch, and so far, they've been very comfortable other than for the one-time blisters. The other point I want to address is are they overrated. As the popularity of these shoes has grown, I often hear people saying they're boring and unoriginal. I do think they are plain and yes, I do think a lot of people are wearing them but given the comfort level and the fact they go with so many of my outfits, it should be no surprise they are so popular. At the end of the day, I recommend the Sambas if you're looking for a comfortable sneaker that has a classic look for a variety of outfits from casual to lunch date.
