Deep Purple for October

And we’re back with a little more autumn styling!
This is such a STRONG contrasting outfit, I would say that wearing this look was borderline outside of my comfort zone heehee. BUT one must persevere in moments of uncertainty!
The sleeveless turtleneck (similar style without cap sleeve) is so soft, and the shade of purple is so deep. Washing it on cold and delicate has preserved the stretch and color. I also like the cap sleeves; it’s a different take on the turtleneck. Banana Republic Factory can be a hit or miss, but the quality of this sweater was good for the price. I will also say that this is a thinner sweater, but I prefer this level of thickness in early fall.
The wide leg jeans are classic blue that are a Levi’s wide leg and are still going strong. I’m excited for when the weather truly mellows out to pull these out again.
I think what makes this outfit, other than the color contrast, is the sharpness of black accessories with a black crossbody bag (similar in leather), my usual black cap toe ballet flat (similar), and my belt (similar). Finishing out this outfit, is a small black druzy necklace. This was bought at a local consignment shop, but this black druzy necklace from Etsy is lovely!
