A Favorite Black Dress for the Summer

Today, a classic piece for the summer. Now I know what you're thinking, it's summer it's close to 90 degrees, why are you wearing black? The secret to black dressing in the summer is linen and cotton. This black midi dress has a variety of pluses: it's 100% cotton, has lovely cinching for the waist, the perfect length, comes in petite/regular/tall, has SO MANY color options, and has built in bra cups, so no bra needed. It is also available with all of this in a linen/cotton blend.

A few other details are the skirt is very full; it fills out very nicely from the hips down the legs and has beautiful details at the bust with I believe is picot trimming. Straps are adjustable and with the zipper/back smocking it's a very comfortable piece of clothing, it's quite breathable.

Given how much I love this dress, I didn't want to take away from this dress. Usual favorite sandals, favorite shoulder bag (similar shoulder bag), a classic sun hat with a black ribbon (similar sun hat). With this outfit I added just some classic pearl earrings.
