Neutrals in Linen

So today I have a photo from my old apartment of a summer outfit but given that it has been around 90 degrees, I think this would be a great look for the extreme weather now. This is also an outfit I continue to wear today.

Linen shorts are a great staple for the summer season and if you go with a neutral you can pretty much pair it with any color top. These linen shorts are light weight, high rise, and have an elastic waist. I will say that if linen material makes your skin itch, these may irritate your legs, I did feel that washing them softened them a little more. These shorts are unfortunately sold out from Banana Republic, but the exact same short is available on the site in a no pockets option, so I've linked those shorts. To make this a neutral outfit, I paired the shorts with a silk tank top (my top is sold out but linked is the v-neck version). This tank is sooo light and breathable, it's one of my favorite tanks for hot weather. It also comes in a variety of colors and washes fantastic. We have my usual black sandals, pearl earrings (similar), and black crossbody.

That somes up it up this outfit, short and sweet!
