Striped Button Shirt Dress

Another summer dress for today! This is one of my more comfortable dresses (similar style) and is a mixture of cotton and linen. With it being 90 degrees recently, breathable fabric is a necessity. This is a boxy style that allows for a lot of the fabric to air out, especially in the skirt. Given that the dress has very little structure, I added a large belt (similar type of belt). Adding the belt instantly improved the dress by giving me a defined waist. Although I don't often like rattan items, I think the belt with the rattan details makes for a fun summer accessory.

To tie in the browns in the belt I added my favorite tan sandals. Jewelry included my square face watch.
